Hello! I'm Mcbuzzerr or Buzzo for short! I found melonland from browsing neocities, and I found neocities from browsing websites like the bored button and wilby longing for fun websites. I've grown so tired of cycling between the same 4 hellsites owned by massive corporations... Good thing I found this place! :D

I've been making websites since before highschool and now I'm a software engineering student in college! My pronouns are he/him or they/them and I'm 20! As for interests I like vidya games (Mostly Nintendo), programming, reading (a lot of Hellboy recently), and some of the weirdest music on Spotify.


I just discovered the retro web revival movement and I've fallen in love!

I'm excited to develop our websites together!
(also holy cow, having a cohesive retro aesthetic is so hard, how do you do it?? My brain just wants to make modern-style websites that have sleek flat colors and uber simple layouts)

Hi Buzzo, welcome to the forum! 

Honestly, I think I find retro aesthetics easier to do than clean designs - It's is much more fun playing with 100 different textures; compared to a flat white site, where you have to find the perfect font to express your whole aesthetic because the font basically carries the site.. that's terrifying!

What made you pick software engineering? I guess I'm always curious because I'm still trying to figure out why I picked it
