My intention is archiving websites that host [hypertext & images] sources, to backup my claims in case those sites go offline.

My original approach was to do an archive locally, and provide a copy of the deleted source (a screenshot, a uploaded html or a torrented archive). But i am considering archiving it too on third-party websites (like web.archive.org, archive.today) because it may seem more reliable/practical [in a sense that is easier to instantly access].

Should i use third-party archive websites?, In that case, should i use more than one?, Should i stay with my original approach?

Thank you

Saving it locally is - while bundled with drawbacks - probably the easiest thing. Using an existing page might be a valid alternative, but bears the risk of investing much work into managing these mirrors. Wouldn't use more than one. Making your own page (even though you didn't bring this up) might cause problems regarding copyright stuff, even though the risk might to run into trouble might be low - I'm pretty sure that a good part of the budget of archive.org is spent for lawyers.
