my name is lab, i'm 17, i am new
i joined this forum to make new friends who are also webmasters in a very small space because big communities are quite overwhelming...
i have a lotttt of interests (i set up my profile, you can view the most prominent ones i have on there). i am currently playing pathologic (classic hd, not pathologic 2) and i am a bit obsessed (50 hours in it so far) so if anyone else here likes it or any of my other interests please mention that :3
i have had a neocities since 2021 but i only started taking it seriously this year, such as coding stuff all myself and not using templates. my website is constantly updating, and i also completely redo it sometimes unfortunately but i would like to tone that down for consistency heheh
i really like the neocities community because i am tired of big corporation social media, especially twitter, besides the ones where i can completely control my experience via third party stuff such as tumblr. i still have a twitter account for friends though. using it frequently is a tough habit to break...

I love the splashscreen before entry to your site. It's using the Milk outside a bag of milk background, right? I'm also a big fan of contained sites (as in all the information is contained within a box), so I appreciate how easy your site is to navigate (for me personally!) It also oozes personality!

Also on your profile I see you mention some other interests! Particularly Higurashi which I just got to the third chapter of! It's really an interesting visual novel, and I'm excited to see how this one ends! Do you have a favourite (non spoiler) character from the series? I'm also looking forward to playing Umineko as soon as I finish Higurashi, and Pathologic is a favourite game of mine even though I've never played it LOL. I just love watching others play it...

All of your RPG maker favs too ahh.. It seems we have a lot in common! Yume Nikki is my personal favourite, what about you?

i love higurashi a lot.... to answer your question, my favorite character is rena and always has been (ever since i finished the vn in 2021 :3) umineko is very very good as well, and ciconia (the third entry to the when they cry series) is legendary, even though it has only one 'phase' out so far (and has been in hiatus limbo for years but ahhh its good), and is my personal favorite out of the three...
and pathologic is suuuper good im a big fan so far, i finished the haruspex route a few days ago and will start the changeling route on the weekend!! i even drew clara a while ago... i completely understand not personally playing it but liking it anyways considering how hard of a game it is hehehehe (assuming that is the reason, correct me if it's another one) i did that with the silent hill games 1 to 3 last year and watched playthroughs of all three because the combat was too hard...
as for rpgmaker games, my favorite ever is ghost suburb ii!! its such an obscure rpgmaker game that such a small amount of people talk about but it is really awesome (though pretty buggy sometimes) and ive gotten a bunch of my friends into it, albeit carefully because i wouldn't want it to blow up out of nowhere, i don't know how the dev would feel about that... -.-
also, i have played over 60 rpgmaker games!! a chunk of them i have not finished but still, i have been a huge fan for four years now yey

i dont have a whole lot to say other than i really super duper fucking love everything about your website and you seem generally dope as hell.i have yet to but am very much interested in experiencing a fair few of the medias you mention being interested in, especially milk inside/outside a bag of milk. i have played the fuck out their respective soundtracks already so im pretty sure im in for a mindbending experience of some kind. i should probably put a page on my website going over things im interested in, or maybe just add such information to my learn page. in general we seem to have very different interests in media but when has that ever stopped me from thinking someone is cool and wanting to be friends with them. anyway hi nice to meet you.
