Putting this in off-topic, hopefully it fits here LOL

The New Year...whether we are prepared or not, it is nearly upon us.
And whether or not you're a fan of fireworks, I was struck by a random thought to drum up an incredibly goofy/lighthearted SEVERELY important New Year topic: a VITAL Debate on a topic that I am sure you have definitely thought about.

BEST FIREWORK EFFECT SHOWDOWN

(image apparently from galacticfireworks dot co dot uk...I am sure there are more styles than this, but it is one of the first images that popped up when I searched, and putting twelve options is already quite a lot.)

So with what is provided, CHOOSE YOUR FAVORITE FIREWORKS.

- You can vote for three in the poll AND change your vote if you decide you changed your mind later on.
- Or respond with why you chose what you chose in hopes of swaying other voters, on this very explosive topic.
- This website has some pretty good gif examples of most effects above.

May the best firework win and be crowned Firework Champion of 2022, a title I definitely did not just make up right now.

And for those counting down to the New Years, have a great and safe one!

the crysanthemum and the tourbillion!!! :ozwomp: me love me love!!

Ooh, great choices!

For now, I'll go down with the ship for FISH and DRAGON'S EGG, those two flashy effects never fail to put a big grin on my face. It was difficult to pick between the classic Peony or Strobe for my last vote, but the eternal staple of the Peony just barely pushed Strobe out...gotta have some variety in my house...

i feel like the comet followed by the crosette is a bit of an underdog in a firework show, so i have to root for it TwT i love big fireworks, but i appreciate the burst of small fireworks too! :ozwomp:

It's the sizzly sound of the Dragon Eggs that does it for me
