hello! my name's mj, i'm new. i have no gender and go by any pronouns but tend to present masculine.

i found this place by stumbling through the grand 88x31 button trail of the web and the sheer Atmosphere of melonland-related sites is marvellous. i enjoy programming, making music, and consuming/producing various surrealist media. i've been doing the former since i was nine, the middler since i was 13, and the latter probably as long as i've spoken english.

interactable art is something that interests me greatly, and while i find myself unable to finish many large projects nowadays, i do have a very strong interest in gamedev, whether that be via a proper game engine or just raylib and a few libraries. i have a mostly undocumented weird worldbuilding project named Cal, and intend to at some point finish a game set in it.

Really cool that you have been interested in programming and music for so long. I will try and remember to give your stuff a listen to!! How close is your game to being demo-able?

you also mentioned since you've spoken English, is it your second language or did you just mean from when you were very young?
