Hello everyone.

A couple days ago I got a little frustrated that the youtube music player I've been using on my site is a bit annoying to update. It played from a collection of manually pasted titles and video ids. So I decided to try and make it use youtube playlists.
My previous attempt at that, a couple months ago, didn't work out, but now I have made what I wanted! And I wanted to share it.

Hi! First of all, thanks a lot for sharing your player, it's very simple to install and is the first one that actually works for me

However! I have a question.

Scratch that, now I'm just confused 

I was going to ask for help because the music would autoplay each time I opened the page (and I re-embedded it like three times, yet the problem persisted), but then I just as a second thought decided to make the playlist public instead of unlisted and... it stopped autoplaying?..

...I am very confused but WELL it works now, so just thank you

It's quiet when I open the page directly, but for some reason it still fires up if I go BACK to said page by using a nav link from other pages of the site... (or even simply click 'home' while being on it tbh)

Should probably clarify that this is happening on Chromium-based Brave, while Firefox, of course, seems to be okay. Still wonder if there's a way to definitedly block autoplay - you never know which browser your visitors are using... Just out of sheer curiosity fired up Edge and yeah, same thing there.

Firefox disables autoplay on every site by default. As for other browsers...

The player autoplays by default. I'll add a html attribute toggle, like for shuffling, and turn it off by default. Later, though, 'cause its late over here rn :p

As for now, a fix would be to be remove line 40 of the script, this one:

You create a playlist on YouTube out of all the songs you want, and then just embed the playlist ID in the code

Heyo!

Bringing this topic up hoping someone may help me

For some reason this player stopped working for me (recently, too, last month everything was fine). The "play" button doesn't always work, the song name doesn't always appear, and the "prev/next" buttons just don't work for me period - or if they momentarily do, they jump over songs (and then get stuck anyway). I've checked, the videos in the playlist itself are fine.

Was there some kinda update for YouTube that messes with the script now or is there something else on my end that could be going on? Would be a pity to lose this player, I've really gotten used to it.

(One instance of the player is embedded on my site's main page if anyone wants to cross-reference whether it's a shared issue or not).

I checked on Firefox and also on Firefox-based Floorp. On Chrome too, just in case. The problem with "prev/next" especially persists on all of them.

Hey! Just dropping by to say I've been looking for something like this, so thanks for the code! 

However, I've also had a few issues with it. The strangest of them all, is that it seems to work for EVERY playlist except the one I actually want  Is it a matter of playlist size, or how long the videos are?
