hi, i'm arrow! i'm an adult and i use any pronouns. i've been on the internet for most of my life and have been making websites that whole time too.

here are my main websites, if you wanna check 'em out!

• aroceu.com - my personal site with all of my personal projects (fanfiction, prompt generators, media log)
• kingdra.net - my indie website portal, links out, assorted webdesign brainrot not involved in a personal project
• icirr.us - my personal pokemon shrine/archive! it has its own domain because it's a very big (ongoing) project

i've essentially been interested in creating websites since 2008, and i had a whole host of different websites since then. my attempts at socializing have always been pretty flaky for a variety of reasons, but since september of last year (2024) my interest has not only renewed but also skyrocketed. not to mention that the omnipresence of social media on the internet has made me feel both jaded but also stubborn in reigniting my love for independent websites. i've always been incredibly passionate about personal websites, even if it's just visiting them, because they feel like such an authentic display of humanity and creativity

um, anyway! i tend to get pretty philosophical when i talk about websites for too long i'm excited to be here and thanks for having me! o/

i like personal websites that are creative and explorative in a way that feels intentional by the webmaster, even if it requires a lot of reading and navigation. i'm curious by nature so seeing websites that really test it in their own unique ways (usually often unintentional, i just like clicking on everything) really excite me and always feel like a brand new experience. i like to compare websites like this like a scavenger hunt i'm also just a sucker for a really artistic and good-looking site, no matter the aesthetic or content.

sooo kind of fitting with this haha i've been lurking on a lot of personal/independent websites in recent months, particularly on neocities (since they're easier to find.) some of my favorite sites i've recently stumbled across are:
