hello all! i've been lurking on here for a bit but decided it was finally time to introduce myself!

my name is donna and i'm cuban and nonbinary!

i've had my neocities for close to 2 years now, just on and off working on it, but recently is when i've really decided to put more work into it and phase other social media out of my life. it's made me so happy to have something i can consistently work on, not really worry about making 100% perfect, and just something that is so fun! i used to hang around on forums as a kid, so it's nice to be back on that same type of platform again.

some of my hobbies are making art, reading, writing, hiking, gardening, horseback riding, and just being outside.

i've got some stories i've been working on for years that i eventually want to make something out of, and looking at other people's sites and their characters, stories, art, and comics has been so inspiring!

looking forward to chit-chatting with everyone here and possibly making some pals!

hello! i think i must have discovered it from the webring? it was so long ago i really don't remember lol

i'm glad you liked the fishkeeping page! i have big plans for that page; there's an old aquarium i took apart awhile back that i'm thinking of getting up and running again, so i'm excited to share my progress there!

as for typical social media, i just hate how everyone and everything is trying to sell me something! getting recommended videos where someone is talking about something, only to see it's a paid ad is so frustrating, i feel like i can't trust anything anymore    and just how bland and "clean" websites are nowadays, there's no way to customize your online presence on any of these mega-corporation sites. which is a big reason why i've been enjoying the forum and neocities
