Hello, all! You can call me Rod or Shark. It's been a long time since I've been on forums and it makes me feel shy and nervous all over again.
I've been dipping my toe into learning about the indie web and even started making my own website. It's a slow process while I learn to make time for it alongside my art and my job, but I'm really enjoying the process so far. I wanted to surround myself with likeminded peeps, which is why I finally made the leap to apply and join this forum. I'm really happy to have been accepted, so thank you! :D
While I get myself familiar with using forums again, could anyone who decides to respond tell me what their favorite part about the forums are, and share any tips you think would be useful or make my time more fun? Doesn't have to be just this forum, but forums in general! For example, I see there are rules for stuff you can have in your signature, but how do y'all go about making anything for a signature? Is it straight forward? :O Do you use image resizers or make the images in small canvas sizes? I'd love to know anything you have to share!
And I'll see some of you around these parts while I explore around!
