It's the nature of the Internet and life, isn't it? People come and go. Sometimes you're lucky they will reappear in your life, but often... not so much.
But at least, you get the memories of significant moments. Sometimes, especially on the Internet, they are second-hand, but that doesn't mean they're any less valuable
I think most of the Internet's population is made of lonely people. Yes, everybody is disconnected from other people and touch-starved out there; but the Internet is for the marginalized, the isolated, those who never truly found their place or their people in real life. So we built one of our own.
But of course, real life is the world we come from, the one we must always come back to. And it has very chaotic, confusing, sometimes harsh rules. You can't truly live how you'd like to, and even if you could it would probably not be very good for you.
I'm still trying to build and find my place, my people, in both the virtual and real worlds. I hope trucking is the way for you. If you can come back, please tell us of your experiences, if you want to, of course. Experiences are always valuable, even if they're second-hand.
Please, take care of yourself. I heard trucking can be a huge toll on your body and mental health.
