Hey guys. So I’ve been working on a small journaling platform over the past few days and would love some honest feedback. It’s meant to be a simple place to jot thoughts, track entries over time, and interact lightly (likes/comments) without a lot of noise.

You get one prompt each day, can share your thoughts on that prompt and share with other users on the platform, and there’s an archive to revisit older prompts. It will be fun to revisit your old notes/thoughts in the future.

It’s still early, so there are rough edges and I’m sure I’ve missed things. If you have a moment to click around, I’d really appreciate thoughts on what feels confusing, what’s missing, and what you’d expect from something like this.

Happy to hear feedback on:
  • usability and layout
  • performance or bugs you notice
  • what features you think are unnecessary or worth adding

I’ve put the website online at daynote.club - thanks in advance for taking a look.

I like the concept. However, I'd recommend to make the prompts a little bit less clear. The current ones are cozy, but I believe they bear a certain temptation to give either satirical or trite input.

This is neat! It seems like the ability to interact with others outside of comments in pretty limited (and that might be the intention), but I really enjoy the concept of a minimalist, prompt based social media. I hope this takes off, because it seems like this would be an app/site that encourages positive interactions over general engagement. It'd be nice to be able to chose your own profile pic though.

I like the idea, and it seems like a fun low-commitment thing to do. I sorta hope it doesn't take off too much, it feels like the kind of project that would become less and less special if more people were there, but thats just my biases
