Recently I completed a little project with it, and it's something I'd like to discuss; it seems to be something that is hard to communicate on the site it's self!
With some Javascript magic, my website has a day and night cycle like classic video games.
This wasn't too hard to do really? I used a lil API to calculate sunrise and sunset and then serve the user day.css if it's in a period the sun is up!
I then altered that script to ALSO have an allowlist of certain dates (holidays/season changes) and it'll serve css themes similar to day.css based on the date too. For example, on October 31st it'll serve halloween.css which is, of course, all spooky themed.
This was so so so so so much work, even though it seems simple! I did themes with weather effects for all the season changes and everything! It'd mean a lot to me if you checked it out!
