"Old School" (1979-2007) Hip-Hop

I thought I'd make a thread dedicated to discussing "Old School" Hip-Hop! For the purposes of this thread, "Old School" will be referring to Hip-Hop made between the years 1979, starting with King Tim III by the Fatback Band, to 2007. Songs that sound like they're from this era will be included too, but like... this isn't exactly for discussing Lil Peep or Cardi B (no offense intended to those artists).

I've been listening to a lot of late 90s and early 2000's NY Hip-Hop lately, such as Cam'ron, DMX, and Fat Joe. Cam'ron especially had a really smooth demeanor and tight wordplay. Although the beats kinda got meh when he signed to Roc-A-Fella and went face first into the kinda annoying Chipmunk Sampling trend.
