Hello everybody, I am going to a trip real soon!
I'm excited because it's gonna be a break I really need after finishing my second career!
And I've finished all my priority online projects (as in, stuff with deadlines and people depending on them) before, so I can take this trip... with no electronic devices at all! (except my phone, in case I get lost or need to call somebody).
And while going offline for so long is gonna be very tempting and even necessary... I might get the urge to try to write some HTML for my website or anything I might come up with. You know how it goes, you might leave your devices at home, but your creativity doesn't stop.
And while I can always rely on good ol' pencil and paper for drawing... what do I do with HTML?
Do I just write down my ideas on the Notes app of my phone? Do you have better ideas?
Looking for something with the least frills possible, the HTML equivalent of a typewriter (...or Notepad, which is what I use to write my webpages) Being able to test them as well would be dandy, but I get it wouldn't look the same on a phone as in on a desktop (I am primarily a "desktop only" website maker, iiii really gotta check how to make things phone-accessible
but I don't really have an urge for my website to be mobile-readable, I'd rather make it truly accessible... I'm going off a tangent, aren't I?).
Anyway, have you ever been on a situation like this? How did you (or would you) solve it? Or should I just forget about HTML during this time and enjoy myself, or maybe even focus my web ideas in some other way?
