Heyo to all!

I found this website through random chance, well, somewhat. I was browsing the web for old sites to try on this browser called Protoweb that archives old pages especially from the 90s. Instead, I found this place, and sure glad I did. I really dig the vibe here, the site aesthetic and the gathering of creators and old web lovers from all over the place!

What can I say? I don’t really know how to talk about myself. I have some projects in my About Me in my profile (don’t wanna spam by reposting here). I also like a bit of everything, I like reading and writing sci-fi and dystopia, a sketch and stuff, and I’m a game dev and IT student. Looking forward to my time here.

I also found this place through random chance, though I've never heard of Protoweb before! It sounds cool, I'll have to look it up later... In any case, I do hope you enjoy it here! I know I sure do  .

I had a look at your profile since you mentioned you have some of your projects listed there, and wow! I love the look of Lavyrinthos, the old school vibe of it is so nostalgic. The DOOM WAD also looks so cool! I love all the details seen within the video you shared so far!! It's inspiring to see as a fellow gamedev !

What draws you in the most when it comes to sci-fi and dystopia writings? I've always been interested in the idea of them but have often found that the writing tends to be too dense for my understanding  ... So I've always admired those who can craft worlds based on those settings! I would love to hear some more about your story if you felt comfortable sharing!

For dystopia, what draws me is how I either add to their arguments or reject them. Sci-Fi also has this aspect where I consider why the world came to be in its new way (like a far future tech age or homes on new planets) and whether that makes sense or if gaps in science can be sacrificed for plot devices. Unfortunately, I can’t leak what’s going on in the story. And I have to restrain myself from saying “hey, just a little bit” cause every time I do I end up dumping a lot of info (my work has been stolen before this way). But I’ll say it combines sci-fi, the supernatural, worldview, politics, and critiques of the present world through a future world.

However, from what you've provided thus far it sounds interesting! And I get the vibe that you're really passionate about your work which is really cool to see  ! I hope it all goes well for you!!
