(initially posted to knockout in the context of this video)

so basically you take a site or an article or whatever an go on one of those ghoul ass seo tools and put the link into their backlink analyzer and get like a dozen or more blogs and forums and linkdumps of wherever its being discussed

this one pushes their pro plan into your face every 5 minutes but you can just keep creating accounts with disposable emails. they try to keep track of them but it's an endless cat and mouse and the ones on the second page of google wont get caught.
the banger part is forgot what it was exactly called, something like backlink audit or toxicity audit. shows you pretty much every backlink that exists but only limits you to like 5 on a page. but you can cheat it by exhaustively checking every 0-100 point on the authority score and toxicity and whatever else. i then save them to a txt in my backlog folder

and this one is free from hassles but limited. and can also analyze individual links. works better on older ones because newer will be clogged with alternative hackernews frontends and duplicate masto instances

It's less robust than OPs stuff, but still extremely interesting, so I'll show it off here..

This website is a 3D graphical view of every 88x31 link button on the internet and what they ALL link to. You can find your own site in here with the search function.

I spent a good deal of time playing on this when I first found it, it's really interesting!
