my favorite are definitely sixtyfour and tiny5. you can get them on Google fonts but the device I'm currently using has Google fonts blocked I think

https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Tiny5?query=tiny5

https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Sixtyfour?query=sixtyfour&preview.script=Latn

nope I lied! it isn't blocked :P

I absolutely love ITC Anna. I use this font for so many things.

I like
Bahnschrift Condensed
Lucida Sans Unicode

I loooove ITC Anna. Haven't found a use for it yet but it's so My Life Is A Teenage Robot.

My fave fonts are Dosis, Moon, and Vollkorn! Sorry for no preview images, they wouldn't appear for some reason.

• Atkinson Hyperlegible; there's also a monospace variant
• Comic Neue is a legitimately good font that follows from Comic Sans
• Source Code Pro isn't an exciting font, but it's a pretty solid monospace font
• Computer Modern. I just really like LaTeX and this is the default font for that.

For legibility with my site content (also because I like it), I use Trebuchet MS. It isn't super plain but is also pretty readable (I previously posted in here about ITC Anna, which is what I use for headers and titles on my site).

Some time ago I came across a site with fonts based on old PC BIOS that could work very well for projects related to that theme.

https://int10h.org/oldschool-pc-fonts/

P.S: I remember back when absolutely every website used Verdana.

[ribose]

this topic inspired me to make a page on my site for fonts i like! a few of the fonts on my list are related to ones that have been shared here already:

https://int10h.org/oldschool-pc-fonts/

this site is a huge inspiration to me! my homepage's main fonts have all been from here since i started using custom fonts. i love pixels and i love monospace. right now i'm using Codata PPC-400:

https://int10h.org/oldschool-pc-fonts/fontlist/font?cordata_ppc-400

i've also used DOS/V re. ANK24 and TI pro (the calculator font!) as my site's main fonts.

Atkinson Hyperlegible; there's also a monospace variant

there's another variant of this font that makes the edges of the glyphs rounded instead of sharp, and i like it a lot!

Comic Neue is a legitimately good font that follows from Comic Sans

this one's another take on comic sans, crossing it with helvetica:

https://www.dafont.com/comic-helvetic.font

two others that i've used on my sites are Victor Mono and SUPERCOMPUTER:

https://rubjo.github.io/victor-mono/

http://disasterfonts.co.uk

and here's one more that i like but haven't used on a site yet, Redaction 35 Italic:

I like using pixel and monospaced fonts, like Grand9K Pixel and Roboto Mono. (Also you may have noticed that the "Grand9K Pixel" font was used in Scratch as the "Pixel" font.)

I like Hack as my Monospace font. It just is real pleasing to the eye for me

I also like Georgia and Helvetica sometimes if I want to give myself a confidence boost, I change my fanfic font to that heh.

Merriweather is also nice
