While people are on the subject of games, Dark Souls 2 was good. That doesn't mean it's the best in the series, just that it's fairly high-quality on its own, and a lot of its bad reputation probably comes from comparing it to the other games in the series. Even if you believe it to be "the worst in the series," that doesn't make it a bad game, because you're comparing it to other awesome games!

I think my biggest unpopular opinion is that I think Black Licorice is the best jelly bean flavor.

Also if your video game's main draw is that its unbelievably hard, then it's not a good game imo. I'm not saying EVERY hard game is bad, just the ones where the whole point is "lol this game is so super hard lol."

as for my unpopular opinion, i don't like watermelon. everyone says it tastes sweet but either i have had the worst watermelon luck or i just think the wateryness overpowers any of my ability to enjoy it 

It's nice to see I'm not the only one who dislikes watermelon! It's too watery for my comfort. The only watermelon-things I like is watermelon-flavored candy like jolly ranchers. I'd rather eat nearly any other type of melon honestly, especially cantaloupes! I love them!

As for my own possibly unpopular opinion? On the topic of food, I kinda hate bananas. I used to love them as a kid but they taste too weird to me nowadays. I don't mind them on a smoothie however, especially if it's a strawberry banana smoothie!
Idk if this is also unpopular but I also hate classic Lays. Waaay too salty for me, and that's saying a lot because i do like salty foods.

I do not hate social media, and if I see anyone who is dismissive of people who use it or think they're a loser for using it, I am actually going to avoid them because it's a sign they are not a pleasant person to be around. Social media absolutely has its problems and the toxicity that the more "normie" side of it has (quotations because this can be common in other communities there too, but moreso with those who aren't there for specific hobbies or interests), but a lot of this can be combated by spotting the problem and dealing with it accordingly via blocking, actively searching for other stuff or sometimes setting away for a bit.

I think having a combo of socials and personal site(s) is a healthy mix that balances out everything and gives people the space they need to both have their own outlet of creativity and be connected with people within their communities, because let's be real, small web communities are usually general and about personal sites and projects, I am not going to find people who share the specific interests with me here, especially if it's more nishe like they have been as of late. I can talk about web design here and ask for help if my divs are done wrong, but no one is going to be interested in my fanfics or my Infinity Nikki outfit of the day.

Potato chips dipped in ketchup are the thing!

We have fries with ketchup, I think potato chips definitely taste good with it as well. I haven't thought about trying it before for some reason, I should do that.

Pineapple does not belong on pizza, and people who enjoy pineapple on pizza like it because of what the sugar does in the reward system of their brain and not because the flavors work well together. Furthermore, whenever you eat pineapple, the enzymes in the pineapple try eating you too, so I must conclude that pineapple pizza enjoyers not only lack taste (probably because their taste buds have already been burned away by pineapple enyzymes,) but that they also enjoy pain. I have tried pineapple pizza many times, and each time I find that it tastes like a travesty. It is equivalent to layering fruit roll-ups on top of lasagna or sprinkling skittles into your spaghetti. It just does not belong and I'm sure such behavior frightens Italians.

Note: this is a highly biased, unscientific opinion backed by no research, and sprinkled with dramatic effect.

I'm neutral towards pineapple pizzas, it doesn't taste too bad, I'd rather have this than mushroom pizzas, I hate mushrooms (except enoki mushrooms).

Aren't pineapples supposed to not hurt after cooking, considering most of the enzymes break down in heat?

I kind of enjoy getting mosquito bites 

You may think, "what you're really enjoying is just scratching an itch". But no, I kinda like when I have a bunch of mosquito bites all over my body and I intentionally rub them to agitate them to make myself itchy, cuz scratching an itch DOES feel good no matter what anyone says, and having itchiness on demand and being able to satisfy it is kinda fun 

Yes, I think this is my most messed up opinion probably.

Wow that's actually an opinion that scares me. I'm deathly afraid of mosquitoes being near me, I have experienced being bit by a mosquito and having trouble sleeping due to the itch. It sucks being O type blood, which is rumoured to be the ones that mosquitoes like the most.

Here's my hot take, I'm not a fan of romantic stories, main plot and sub plot. I don't know why, but everytime a character goes embarrassed and yearns for their love interest or cue a 5 minute scene of the character looking into their love interest's eyes, I just feel like "man can we move on?" and it's annoying to have those hetero couples *squints* being shoved into my face all the time. (I'm trying to make fun of people who complain about gay couples if you dont get it)

I'm quite surprised how many people like romance stuff, when all I feel is it's very annoying, and sometimes unrealistic. It might be related to me being on the ace spectrum, and I see many ace people feeling the same about romance shows.

Forgive me if this has been said already and I just missed it, but I think the show Friends STINKS!
All of the characters are jerks and creeps, and I think most of the jokes are dumb! Aside from nostalgia, I don't understand why anyone likes it. Sometimes I feel kind of wary of people that do, because there's so much ableism, queerphobia, and just general outright toxicity crammed in there. It makes me really uncomfortable

Or KSP. Very competitive community, but somehow not toxic at all. Competitive as in "woah this thing you made is SO COOL! Imma now make something EVEN COOLER!", not as in "I LOST SO THEN YOU MUST BE HAXXING" which is how most competitive games are like.

modern online gaming is literally only about winning and doesn't breed interesting or welcoming communities like they used to.

Kingdom of Loathing is an active MMO and the community is very nice.

one of my unpopular opinions is that somehow, the green bit of the watermelon is actually sort of okay to eat

like, a watermelon slice, and sometimes i genuinely don't stop and then i've chewed on the lighter bit (near the skin) and don't realise it, lol

though it doesn't seem to have much of a taste to me, it just has a similar texture to the more reddish parts inside haha

honestly, i think Metro (design) looks nice, at least if it's used well
obviously Big Tech's version of it's very bland, but i love it when it has colour and stuff

my art gallery for example has flat box shadows, some flat patterns, and it uses a bit of colour!

i think frutiger aero is nice, frutiger metro is cool, Y2K is cool in and of itself, but part of me kinda feels early metro was overshadowed a lot!

I don't care about pineapple on pizza. In fact, I get the appeal, my ex was kind of a truther about how it's actually complementary. But the only time I've eaten it was when someone else ordered some, pizza is pizza to me.
