The hues seem like they're inverted

Are you running on an ARM based computer? (like any new an M-series mac) ~ they are all known to have inverted colours when in windowed mode - I have this issue too and there's kinda nothing you can do about it

Fullscreen mode does fix it, but Im not sure why it's crashing for you; I'd try restarting a few times after enabling it or setting fullscreen in the Prisms settings rather than the in game settings. ALSO if you followed the Wiki guide on mac and installed Zulu Java ~ thats actually not needed anymore - there is an official Java 8 build for ARM macs you can get now here! (I have updated the wiki) ~ mayyybe the zulu version has issues.

Also also on ARM mac I sometimes get a bug with item icons not showing up ~ switching texture packs on and off for a moment fixes this!

Overall it runs ok once you get to know the bugs and work around them!

Yes, I'm on an M4 - that makes sense, I just managed to get it open in fullscreen mode without it crashing, and the colours are fixed; let's hope it keeps working

so ive been having some major issues with graphics glitching out it used to be manageable but its just completely broken now @kif told me in the server to just ask for help but I hate to bother ppl and I kinda suck at getting help from ppl so I'm just going to preface that trying to help is going to be annoying and not very fun and its totally ok if you don't want to


  anyways, with that out of the way here's a screenshot of what I've been seeing. Imagine this happening, but brown, red, green, black, and all the time and constantly changing and disappearing sometimes leaving me with nothing to look at I promise this is unplayable for me I wouldn't ask for help if I thought I could suck it up

I know that other ppl have had problems with this but Ive tired joining and leaving and that didn't work I've switched to normal MC and it didn't fix anything I turned mods off and that didn't work either and the only thing that runs clean is my modern download of MC my legacy download is bugged and so is the mod luancher with and without mods and with or without the texture pack its all bugged and I can not play

I tried deleting everything and redownloading it but it didn't work and one file I wasn't able to delete but I did rename it and it moved to a dif part of my PC so idk about that for some reason, it wanted permission from myself to delete it? its very weird and idk what happened to it but it has nothing to do with the bugged out graphics bc that was the last thing I tried to do to fix it tho it was a little stupid of me to try deleting it

I'm thinking I could back up all my files again and just reset my whole PC to really delete MC I know that's hardcore but I'm kinda of a dummy and I don't really understand computers well despite being a part of web revival witch is funny but that's what I'm gonna do if nothing works

if your wondering what my PC is and what I'm running then the details are here

my PC is a: PREDATOR HELIOS 300 (its basically an Acer PC)

it runs on: WINDOWS 11 (yes I know Linux is better, but it's annoying,g and I would have to spend a lot of time to actually figure it out)

it also might be an issue with my location compared to the server but that wouldn't explain it bugging out on a normal world I do not use a VPN

and if your wondering, I did install Java since that was part of the "ideal set up" and nothing changed about how I set it up as far as I know it just started bugging out on me really bad all the sudden I really don't know why

I'm very bummed out about this but its not the end of the world if I cant play anymore its definitely something I could live with but If I cant then some one needs to take my house from me so that it doesn't go to waste

Its fine to ask about ^^ Although this is nothing to do with the server (graphics errors are never related to game servers because graphics always load in your computer!).

I could not find any useful info when I searched (Try this! it does actually seem to be an issue with Win11) ~ failing that fix, since you've ruled out it being related to mods and you've done multiple fresh game installs that means it can only be a few things: 1. You have a buggy Java install 2. you have buggy graphics drivers 3. your actual computer hardware is faulty 4. your OS install is faulty.

So I'd try reinstalling Java 8 from the java site (it never hurts to try) - and I'd try reinstalling your graphics drivers (I think this is it) ^^ I doubt you have faulty hardware unless you have glitches in other games too ~ annndd again I doubt the OS is faulty unless other games have issues too; so Id focus on the first two!

omg your right that's exactly what my glitches look like if I figure out how to fix it I'll put the details below for everyone to see so that no one ends up with the same issue as me


EDIT: IT WORKED REALLY WELL for both the mod launcher and the normal launcher tho the chunks load in really slow now but that's hardly a problem compared to what I was dealing with before thank you melooon that was very nice of you to help me!!!!!!!!!

There are not but its a very good idea and maybe something we could flesh out in the new world building board as a community project

Other than Loka for the world, Spawn Town (being unimpressively named) and a few generic names like the Desert City, Desert Rail etc nothing is universally named.

I tend to refer to things such as "the big stupid sea next to spawn" and "the big stupid sandy bit next to spawn" and "the big stupid hilly area when you leave spawn"

i just call this area (in attatched image) the "town square" or something.
the unfinished glass building is gonna be a greenhouse btw (^_^) the place is pretty compact and there's less and less nature so i figured maybe make a greenhouse with trees and things in it

i guess for me there's a vague idea of the "town", the "outskirts" and then "out of town" or something -- like the northern part of the town is generally less dense (especially north-east) so i figured that's part of the outskirts though even all around that gigantic lake (pool? lagoon?) to the east is the outskirts to me :P

idk if you said it here @Melooon or in the chat thing but I clearly remmeber you saying that the wiki can be used for anything related to melon land for a while Ive thought about that and I couldn't think of anything useful to say there but now I'm thinking what if I made a page documenting everyone's MC house on the Minecraft server their are so many there's about 50 or 60 ppl on the server if Im correct and I'm kinda in my final and most permanent Minecraft fase now and now that I got more free time I Want to do some fun stuff with that correct me if I'm wrong or if that's a bad idea or a waste of resources or if someone already did that its an old server by this point 3 YEARS THATS CRAZY I definitely arrived pretty late but mabey if I do this then ppl might start hopping on again and I wont have to be so lonely on the server not that I mind it I would just like PvP with some real ppl and friends to build with bc for now I've just been building all alone

Not sure if this is the right place for this, but the game crashes every time I try to use the suggested mods. It says that they are unloaded, and I'm not entirely sure how to fix that It works whenever I remove Forge and the mods but I would like to try and play using them, if anyone has any suggestions. I run on Windows 11 but the launcher says I'm on Windows 8, so I have absolutely no idea what that's about and I have a feeling that might be part of the issue? I don't know enough about minecraft to fix this myself ahah

hi just a couple of minutes ago I was playing with @random tangent and I told them to tp to me bc the textures were glitched and I thought they would be able to see them ok but it turned out they couldn't either they run on linux mint so its not an issue with windows 11 not sure if this was worth posting about but if can be fixed then that would be nice

idk how to help you but I was having the same issue when I first was trying to set it up I can just send you the exact versions I used and all that and you can download them

Also make sure you're inserting the zip files and that you're not opening them; they need to stay compressed for some odd reason

big news everyone, I just made a spider farm so now we can use as much wool as we want

its not very efficient, but it works and it farms skeletons too and a tiny amount of cactus from time to time if I'm right its at the location displayed on the attachment below its right across from my house and anyone can use it if they want

Hey so I don't know if this is the place for this BUT I'm having trouble getting in. I'm not sure if there is a step I missed but whenever I load up my minecraft and try to join the server it won't let me due to "the server being deactivated" and stuff. I have not been able to check if anything has changed in the past few days mainly because I'm on my laptop at my dads and It's not exactly the best thing to run minecraft. I'm sorry if I missed a step or you guys get this question a lot but I felt that since I'm here I might as well ask for help.

You'd have to say what steps you took for it to be possible to say if you missed a step If you can bullet point with details each step you took to get this message then I can try spot any issues.

The server the definitely working just fine, I was playing on it yesterday!

EDIT: make sure it's craft.melonking.net and not "mine." (apparently I miswrite the address in some places)
