I'm considering opening a neopronoun webring!

Oooh! I would love to join if you do!

I currently use it/he/xe! Sometimes I wonder about dropping the he in favour of another neopronoun (fae/faer maybe? Or jester/jesterself?) but that's not really something I'm actively thinking about right now. I'm happy with my pronouns as they are :ha:

I'm primarily a they/them user, but I don't mind letting people assume one way or another (I always find it interesting to see if people think I am a man or a woman).

Above all else though, what I go by depends on what's funniest at the time. Sometimes I'm just a little guy, and sometimes I am an epic slay girlqueen.

i usually write "any pronouns" online, but the truth is that i prefer none and just to always be called by my name!

that being said, im a big fan of your free thinking ideas in your first post hehe, and its making me think about any neo pronouns that call to me that i might want to adopt just for fun! will look more into this...

Hey guys mine are just he/him, Can someone explain neo-pronouns to me so I can understand them better? I've seen some interesting one's in this thread and I'm curious how they work in terms of conversation and do they filter into real life? I want to know more thanks  :cheesy:

For traditional pronouns I use she/he/they, but I also like the neopronouns le/lem (as in. lemon. rhymes with they/them); I just think it's fun. I used to also like it/its, but that's not really my thing anymore lol.

Basically as far as I understand it myself, neopronouns are a set of pronouns that don't ascribe to the gender binary, oftentimes matching up to a gender that also doesn't fit into the gender binary (ie. not male/female/somewhere in relation to those two) but not always.
In terms of conversational use, it really depends on the structure; generally it goes something like:
Prounouns: [x/xs]
[X] is nice.
This is [xs] pencil.
This item is [x's].
[X] did it [xself].
This link explains it a lot better than I can.
In terms of real life, it really depends on the person. I don't use mine, but people certainly can and do!

I use she/her and he/him, and I like it when people switch between the two sets rather than just sticking to one!

I also use the neo sets of bun/buns, moon/moons and fae/faer. I like when they're switched between, as well, but I don't mind if they're left out because I know that neopronouns can be hard for some folks to understand.

I'm used to he/him and use they/them at work because my gender should be irrelevant on the job since I'm just a "human resource", and I sometimes get addressed as she/her at restaurants (it's the hair).

As I say on my website, I'll use your pronouns but I don't care what pronouns you use with me. Just don't call me "sir"; I work for a living.

She/Her. I used they/them & e/em for a while when working out gender stuff, but I’ve rather comfortably settled on she/her in English, elle in French, et cetera

At this point I decided to just eschew pronouns entirely for myself. Not that I get offended when people use them for me; I list myself as any/all if people ask because I don't mind them being used for utility purposes. It's just that I don't feel a connection to any pronouns that are in use (commonly or not). I enjoy seeing other people's neopronouns though, it's a very fun way to think about a part of social interaction people usually take for granted.
