How is everyone doing?? Taking lots of breaks and stretching your wrists I hope!! Last year this thread was mostly just to share your accounts, but this year I'd love to see people share their attacks too!! These are the ones I've finished so far (open in new tab for the full size):





Since I didn't participate as much as I wanted to last year, my goal for this year is to finish at least 10 attacks! And I want to make sure I'm not too precious with them, just draw quickly and have fun!! (Last year I spent over 2 weeks on just one piece  ) Considering I was on vacation 4 days this month, I think I'm making pretty good progress! Do any of you have set goals for the fight?

We are writing to inform our community of a recent security issue that impacted Art Fight. An attacker exploited a vulnerability to inject a malicious script into comments on our latest public newspost (which is now safe to view), with the first malicious comment being reported on May 24th, 2025 at around 3:00 am MST. The comments were removed upon discovery on May 24th, 2025 at 10:11am, and the exploit was successfully fixed on May 24th, 2025 at 4:00 pm MST.

This script was designed to gather login credentials by inserting a hidden email and password form into the comment’s body, relying on browser autofill to populate those fields. We believe this to be a follow-up to an attack targeted at our staff team that occurred several days ago. Anyone who interacted with the newspost (even just viewing) during the above time period may be affected. We estimate that less than 100 people to be affected by this exploit, and currently know of only less than 10 confirmed cases. We are working with these users to help recover their accounts, and several have already been recovered.

This type of attack—known as XSS (Cross-Site Scripting)—is a form of security breach that takes advantage of code execution in a user’s browser without their knowledge or consent. In this case, the attacker aimed to collect sensitive information, specifically emails and passwords, from users who viewed the compromised page.

We quickly patched the vulnerability and removed all instances of the at-risk code. However, we are taking this incident seriously and want to ensure that you are fully informed and protected.

I do recommend folks read this! Not sure if this effected me, but I did go ahead and changed my login information and added the new 2FA feature there. If you do that as well, DO NOT use apps like Authy and Google Authentication. They do mention this in the post, but especially the Google app because the Google reputation alone should kind of sour how trustworthy it feels to me...

I had used Ente Auth and that is AMAZING to use as an authentication app.

Second year participant here of course! In regards to someone that mentioned references, I say the best way to get that done is just colors used for the characters and just a rotation of their body since I done that myself. I had been needing to get a reference done for at least one or two characters I want to add to this year's roster.

Wait why is Authy not recommended? That's the only 2FA app I ever use, and trying to move to another one feels like a hassle considering how many accounts I have across the internet are linked to it.

I finally got a monitor tablet this year, so my drawing pace should hopefully increase! I've been looking forward to Artfight for months, but I can never remember when they announce the team themes...  I can't even remember what themes were in the running this year! Anyone have any they'd love to see? I think they've covered most of my interests already...
