Public Domain Images Database

I've been working on a project for a little while and figured some of you here might find it useful. I've been amassing a collection of images that are in the Public Domain in the US (and probably other places, but I don't know the laws elsewhere) for use with collage art and printables and stuff. It's searchable and tagged, and I'll be adding more features and images in the future. Since they're all copyright free, no credits, permissions, etc. are required. Yoink all you want and use them for anything you like!

When doing "Crumbling Words", I used Wikimedia Commons to search for public domain/open license art and used it. There are also various photos available that one can easily transfer into game art.

That's really neat! Wikimedia Commons also has some really great stuff too, and I've used it before myself. For this particular project I was looking for "clip art" style stuff in a few different styles, so I needed something a bit more specific

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind! Right now there's no backend and I'm putting in everything manually, but that may change in the future

Thank you, I hope you are able to get some useful stuff from it!

So far, I think my favorite images have been of some mushrooms I found in various mycology books:

...but there are lots of other cool ones I yoinked because I liked them. I'd like to eventually build up a good collection of creepy and occult images, since I do like to work on darker artwork from time to time, but that will come with time.
