i have been lurking for a couple of weeks, but decided to make an account finally today.
this place seems like fun! i am excited to take part.

other creative things that i do:
i try to blog about gothic and lolita fashion on my website, i also like to make art sometimes, for friends and personal use. for example i drew my profile picture
it is a self portrait. i also made the kuromi pixel in my signature currently. not sure why it is so huge but i am hoping to remedy this soon.
i also can crochet but i usually start projects and then never complete them
i've been working on the same blanket for 2 years which i am hoping to finish before Christmas this year.
mostly my main hobbies are collecting things. i collect fashion dolls and vinyl/resin ball jointed dolls, frogs, merchandise for the Sanrio character Kuromi, and in the past i have also collected Furby models from 1998-2006 and plush animals from Jellycat. they have been very expensive hobbies so i am trying to encourage myself to spend more time on my other hobbies now.
i am somewhat familiar with the forum concept, having spent the last 5 or so years interacting with relative frequency on a certain website which has avatar creation as well as forums. but every individual community is different with forums, which is something i really like about this part of the web. i'm looking forward to getting to know the people here, reading everyone's posts, and sometimes replying.
