I wanna see your keyboards!! Say what you like/dislike about them if you'd like! Here's mine, a Preonic I assembled, the switches are Gateron Creams and I love them, it feels like typing on a cloud while still clicky enough to hear the key press. I have a couple extra layers with the raise/lower keys to give me back my function keys, media controls, these guys(_+{}|-=[]\) and even a numpad layout-though i use that one too infrequently and don't have any labels for it so it's kinda useless

See attached, I just replaced the keys! Would be nice to have matching white transparent keys but I'm happy for now.
Used to have matching great wave keys to go with my mat but I'm changing my aesthetic rn :D

Edit: Oh yeah and they're Halo clear switches with a hotswap base and something or other keycaps (I forget, 2 different sets smashed together tho)

here's my keyboard, i think its pretty cool :p
it has all the cool keys you need and a funn little dial which controls the brightness of the keys. i got it for christmas last year and it's served me well.

Nice! I like the 2 tone look more than all 1 color tbh, it looks really good!

• case: ymd-96 case in walnut
• switches: melon milk tactiles, lubed & filmed with tribosys3204, krytox 105, durock switch films
• keycaps: yunzii pbt forest party keycaps hipyocaps jungle pbts
• mods: tape mod, poly-fil, 2mm PE case foam

I made the switch to mechanical as a by-effect of seeking a keyboard that could connect via Bluetooth to multiple devices. That quickly put me in the aisle of Keychron keyboards, which look extremely boring but have everything that I need. After a short stint with the K10 (which nearly busted my wrist), I switched to the low-profile K5-SE (pic not mine).



Mine is RGB backlit and has Gateron Blue switches. Since I work alone in my room the sounds don't bother anyone, and I personally love the clicks! The clicks are a prerequisite for any keyboard I'll buy. Sadly I'm still working with the dull design - it's been hard finding vendors of LP keycaps here.

Here's my intergalactic keyboard!



The parts I used:
* Base: GMMK1 tenkeyless. Barebones boards were on clearance for $20 or so, so I thought "why not?"
* Switches: CIY Primaris Asura. Made by BSun, who is apparently making waves in the custom keyswitch market, these are rather heavy tactiles, with a smooth bump that takes up almost all the travel. At around $16, they're surprisingly good value!
* Keycaps: XVX Space. Saw the design and liked it, admittedly

I'm already making plans for my next board; a more compact and portable one. Initially, it was gonna be a refurb of my past board, a Velocifire TKL61WS, but the socket limitations (as well as how dirty the stabilizers got and slight PCB instability) may be making me reconsider this in favor of just getting a different board...
