I don't have movies that I constantly watch, but indeed me and my family have a bunch of "household favourites" that we like to put on when there's a particular holiday that sees us all busy in the livingroom. Mostly December/Christmas time, but also long summer afternoons, Halloween night, Easter sunday...
The movie's basically there to make background noise, but sure enough sometimes one of us stops whatever they're doing to watch their favourite scene, or sometimes we even say the quotes out loud because we learned these stories by heart.
These include the Back To The Future trilogy, Ghostbusters 1 and 2, The Blues Brothers, Trading Places (which is actually a Christmas tradition all over Italy!), Muppet Christmas Carol (or any other Muppet movie of the 80s/90s), Mouse Hunt, several Disney classics of which I had the VHS growing up, Coming To America, Without A Clue, Noises Off, The Super Mario movie (yeah, the live action one!), Jumanji, Hook, The Mask I...
