Yeah, I saw! Yours is about making original pixel art from scratch, which is mostly useful for already-existent artists, and mine is about making pixel art from an image found elsewhere, which can be used by people who aren't artists. So it's got some overlap, but different people can find either of them useful, I think.

maybe you could talk about how it's good for accessibility or helps with non-critical images? or how somehow safari doesn't support it still

question! melon, is there an upper size limit or file count or anything like that? i've got a lot of images and fonts going on (organized into subfolders; hopefully subfolders are okay?) and i want to make sure i don't go too too overboard.

@xixxii there is no size limit! It’s helpful if you can scale and compress your media so it loads fast; if it’s too slow I might have to compress it, but otherwise please do add lots!

Haloooo! Iv received some wonderful guides from people so far! However there have not yet been enough submissions to complete a zine ~ plus I'm just back from a long trip and I'd like a few days to recover. So I think it might be a good idea to extend the deadline to the 14th.

That gives anyone who would like to put together a guide now over a week to get it done!

I hope everyone is ok with that plan and is busy writing guides

For it to be an interesting grouping for people to explore, I'd like to see 8-10, currently we have 4 (excluding me doing one!) ~ soooo we are a little behind unless a bunch of people were planning to submit at the last minute! (very possible ~ but maybe let me know if this is ur plan)

I think if you wanna do two that's fine, but don't overwork yourself, its better to make one really great one than two ok ones!

At any rate its not a biggie, It'll be what it is, but it'd be fun to have a good big diverse selection of guides, and the ones Iv received so far all look really cool

i'm still workin'! nearly done!! i appreciate the extended deadline though, gives me a little more breathing room ~ it's been slowgoing the last few days due to a freak allergy attack, i was worried i wouldn't be able to polish it up in time but now i know i will be able to finish!

i should be done before the new deadline!   oh and  @zawieja is contributing a history section to the entry! it's a collab !

hopefully the extended deadline will let some other folks finish theirs up too! either way i'm looking forward to the zine
