I love status.cafe! I really like it, it's kind of a microblogging platform but better. I really like how customization is allowed for the profiles!

yeah, status.cafe allows for a lot of customization!
I don't have my own webpage yet so i haven't used the widget, but i like how you can seemingly customize-it to match your webpage. It's pretty cool!

I also didn't realize how much custom HTML they allowed! This is really neat  I found a good template here if anyone needs it. Here's my page!

I really love the status widget, and the bookmarklet is so useful! It's the first time I've seen one, and I find myself using it a lot. I'm a very "out of sight, out of mind" person, so being able to update statuses from one button click is great!

I thought I didn't had an account but it turns out I had one and I just refreshed some things and It's working as intended. I need to dabble a bit with the code, plain black background is a bit ugly I'm probably going to make a bit transparent. I like the idea of micro posts outside Twitter. I should probably use it properly at some point. Thanks a lot for reminding me that this exists

I was such a fan of status.cafe a year back and ended up doing a lot of customization, but ended up taking a break

I love my status.cafe. <3 This is what my current Status Page looks like: those are animated CSS bubbles rising in the background, and I've added music to go with the theme of small, brief thoughts from the depths rising. (Ignore the light rounded corners on the left side, that's from my browser.) The platform has been one of my favourites, because it's very easy to find indie webmasters who are active and maintaining/updating their websites, I just go to people's Status Pages and click on their links. I very much like how there's no "Like" or "Follow" functions, so you aren't pressured to be "witty and Like-worthy", as on Twitter/X. I don't make irreverent Likebait posts like "The cheeseburger is one of mankind's greatest inventions" and instead I really do use it as a microdiary. I also love seeing how others have customised their Status Pages. Seeing how creative everyone is so much fun...!

It’s super fun! I love how slow the feed is- being able to thumb through quickly and grow a sense of recognition for recurrent names is cool, and I adore being able to easily check out a bunch of awesome personal sites people link on there. I always check out people’s about pages at the least, (speaking of, I need to work on mine!) and like to feed any virtual pets they have listed. Treats! Integrating my own little feed into my personal site was relatively easy, and I like how much I can make it all pink and cutesy to match with my personal styling.

Blogging can be kind of a drag, (still looking for ways to streamline the process for longer form posts, in the interim I’ve decided to use another site to sort of more easily type them up and have them collected somewhere in a presentable state until I feel like going about integrating them into my main site, probably in batches) but the micro updates status.cafe lets me pop up in a friction-less manner (they even have a little bookmarkable tool to update wherever you are across the web) has been fantastic for something jotted down off the cuff when I don’t have the time or energy for something longer.
