What are your thoughts on so-called "maximalist" music? An album I LOVE is Neō Wax Bloom by Iglooghost which feels super cool and unique, as well as some other weird music like that of METAROOM or Graham Kartna.

Iglooghost - Neō Wax Bloom

also if you have any recommendations let me know too!

Yoooo I love this sorta music! Metaroom, Graham Kartna, and Iglooghost are all favs of mine too! :p

A maximalist fav of mine is Mahōgakkō by Hakushi Hasegawa! [YT Here] This is the most dense sounding album they've put out but somehow it comes together to be surprisingly cohesive. Also bands like black midi (now disbanded I think?) feel like the Jazz/Rock version of maximalism. (Especially this drop around 2:30 in this song)
