Sharing a small site  that I made. Its one part of a series of sheet sites (site built from spreadsheets) that I am making.
This site is made to be a playlist of things. Feel free to add whatever you want and use the sheet however you like!  Say hi, leave a small note, leave a song 4 me/us, an anonymous link to a cool video, a poem, picture for me, an anonymous (kind) message, or a song recommendation to the void.

Also, I welcome any feedback/recommendations for this site! I like how people have the freedom to share/display whatever they want, but I just experienced the first instant of someone abusing that trust and spamming the sheet with inappropriate content. Im trying to only share this site with smaller, trustworthy, safe circles. People who understand and appreciate handmade/indie web to prevent stuff like that from happening, but there will probably me some cases of this happening again. If you have any suggestions on how I can keep it open and flexible while managing trolls, then lmk. For now I can just moderate it and check in on it? Another option is to have people fill out a google form and feeding the responses to the site rather than having people directly edit the  sheet..but i think filling out a google form takes the special away

left a song -- I love this idea so much. it's such a fun community encouraging project that scratches a similar itch to the everyone website. and I have a ton of music to check out that I wouldn't otherwise gravitate towards  thanks for putting this together!

That's pretty cool, I love the idea of creating multiple sites of similar vein. It reminds me of Cézanne's Mont Sainte-Victoire or Hemmingway's 50 endings to a single book. Keep up the spreadsheets

Cool idea. I recently discovered sheet sites and want to do something with them myself - they seem so simplistic!

I see your dilemma with keeping the site open for everyone. I would say keep it open for now and temporarily disable access whenever you think there's too many trolls accessing it. That still requires moderation, though.

This is cool! @imnotjahan  I like the approach of spending a lot of time with an idea/feeling/thing/moment and playing with it in different ways and seeing what comes out of that process. It reminds me of Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings of her patio door.


You know, i dont get it. Why would anyone paint a picture of a door, over and over and over again, like, dozens of times?

Woah! This is such a nice site. I added two little things and got jumpscared by it updating automatically-- don't know what I expected. How does it work?

@bear Thank you and thanks for adding something!! I haven't checked on the site in a while so I was happy to see a handful of new additions. :)   

It uses an API called "OpenSheet" to return a given Google Sheet’s rows as JSON data. Then I use jquery to map that parsed data to an html table and voila! I attended a little workshop on making sheet sites a while ago, so I thankfully had some help/notes from that
