I think it depends on the kind of person you are, but for me, I can't see myself writing a bucket list of goals that are too intense. There are a lot of projects I'd like to do and aspirations that I have, but having a set plan of serious things I want to do before I die has always just felt kind of... I don't want to say
pointless, so maybe
shortsighted is a better term for it. I don't know who I'm going to be in five years, much less ten or fifteen, so by the time I'd get to a serious goal I could only do in my thirties or forties, I might not even have any interest in doing it. I'm also the kind of person who doesn't tell a lot of people about my projects and goals because I tend to spoil too much, and I don't want to oversell myself...
However, if a bucket list consists of mainly fun things, I think that's a little more doable as long as it's not a huge commitment. It's the same with New Years Resolutions, if anyone has seen that post on Tumblr that's been going around in some places about Pasta Quest or Fruit Adventure or various other goofy tasks, I think that'd be great to put on a list. Like, hell, I'd like to try every pasta shape before I die.
TL;DR, it really depends on the person, putting super serious goals on a bucket list, for me, is too rigid of a plan for the future and doesn't help me get any closer to achieving things. If you have a goal, just work towards it and make a regular plan without putting extra pressure on yourself. But putting silly, small-scale goals on a bucket list? I think that's sounds pretty good to me!
