What's your favourite KGLW album?

There's a lot to choose from. If you can't pick one particular one, maybe multiple is a better option... Would it be basic for me to say Nonagon Infinity? I also didn't expect to like I'm In Your Mind Fuzz as much as I did, but I ended up listening to it a lot. Same with Fishing for Fishies and Polygondwanaland. I'm also a Murder of the Universe defender, but that's an album I only really like when I'm looking for something to freak myself out with. But then Infest the Rat's Nest is also crazy good?!

It's hard to pick! Has anyone been able to narrow their favourite down?!

  i used to listen to them in 2018 and then i forgot about them, thanks for reminding me! I remeber I liked Oddments and Paper Mache Dream Balloon the most but i think i should listen to them again now

honestly i dont think its basic to like songs from an artist that everyone else likes. theres a reason theyre popular.
i really like polygondwanaland to the point where i bought the cassette. ill be real thats actually the way i got into kgatlw- i saw the cassette for cheap on needlejuice while ordering ones for lemon demon and was like ok. lemme take a listen since its like 5 bucks and its already free, lets see if its worth it to buy a tape. and then my world was forever changed......................... i now like a lot of psychedelic rock bc of that album lol

They've put out a ton of new albums and they're all SO good; Flight b741 is their newest and I think they're working on a new one with a philharmonic orchestra?? b741 is one of my favourites actually now that I think about it.. I love PMDB also!!

That's true; it is popular for a reason...!! I actually bought CDs for the first time recently, and it was both KGLW. Fishing for Fishies and the 2016 recording of their San Fransisco live, there's a really cool setlist of mainly Nonagon Infinity and I'm In Your Mind Fuzz (with a couple others) that I'm obsessed with. (Then I realized my PC doesn't have a disk drive, so I had to get an external one. OOPS) I'd listened to a couple of their songs before then, but I got into them only really seriously early in 2024, and hit the total Event Horizon when I realized there was speculative overarching lore, and then it was all over for me...

there is toooo freaking much that is great to pick from, but probably my favorite is Quarters, then Infest the Rat's Nest, then PMDB or flying microtonal banana. Sadly, I haven't listened to enough of their newer stuff, but petrodragonic apocalypse was pretty good.

I have a sentimental and nostalgic attachment to I'm In Your Mind Fuzz and Quarters as I would listen to it while catching up on like a term's worth of algebra homework looong long ago. 
My other favorites would have to be Nonagon Infinity, Flying Microtonal Banana, and Polygondwanaland...
 Polygondwanaland probably being my all time favorite. I love the medieval-ness of it, especially the themes of civilization since imagining different civilizations is one of my favorite escapist daydreams when I start zoning out. I haven't really listened to any of their new music since the release of Fishing for Fishies so I am quite behind on everything  Still though, I would kill to see a live performance it has been something I dreamed of since I was fourteen.
