Like the Aesthetic, very pink. The one thing I noticed is the Buttons, they reacted only on the Text not on the Button themselves. Maybe changing the order between the button div and a tag might help there.
Also, the Shrines and Gaming Buttons In my Opinion should be in the Navigation with the rest of the Nav Buttons. But that's a Stylistic choice so who am I to say.

hey!! thank u for the feedback :3 i cant quite remember why, but the 2 other buttons are separated for a reason haha. i think i planned on making a little section where those buttons are, so ill probably change them eventually

Not the Individual Games, they seem to work Perfectly. But when going to the overarching Toybox and Toolshed pages only the gif "Warning JavaScript Ahead" appears. The page just looks like it should have some sort of Index for all of your Toys besides the Navbar. If that wasn't the Indent I am sorry for the Confusion, but I would recommend adding some sort of Index of the Toys / Tools there.

Thanks for that suggestion! I've just added a little preview of the games and a list + description of the tools for their respective parent/landing page. I think it looks a lot less empty, and hopefully gets people's attention!  :ok:

I really like it! It feels very old school but in a good way, it's easy to read and to navigate. Maybe put a border around the guestbook so it stands out a bit more instead of blending into the rest of the text on that page?

Sorry kinda overlooked yours :ozwomp:

I love the Website 90s Computer Design! Honestly I don't have much to criticize your Website over. The only minor thing I noticed is that the Sidebar could be separated with a line from the Main Content.

ohhh, i like it! it's got a very good feel. the only critique i can offer is that some of the text doesnt contrast great with the backgrounds-- the notebook paper on the homepage and the navbar on the utena page stood out to me especially! i personally would try to get the blue and pink on each respective page to be a lighter colour, but i'll let you figure out how you wanna approach that  :ok:

I love the look of the dream sequences! Art in general is pro looking and consistent.
So far the story hasn't really grabbed me. The characters don't have much in the way of desires or distinguishing personalities. The plot feels Higurashi-esk but hasn't distinguished itself yet. Nothing wrong with a slow burn, but I wish there was a more intriguing hook to hold on to.
I like the irl connection, hopefully it will have more presence as the story progresses. Soundtrack is lovely, too.

I like the way elements on the homepage are organized over the background image.
Something to note: your "container" div sticks to the top of the viewport, leaving a big gap on the bottom. It's a matter of personal taste, but if it were up to me I would center that div vertically within the <body>.

I agree with @e- that the art is gorgeous. It's a great style for a webcomic. And I also agree that there isn't a lot of distinguishing character traits for the cast; I'm twelve pages in and didn't know anyone's names until I looked at the characters page, and it's unclear to me what the actual plot is going to be. I love the setting and will definitely keep reading, though!

As for the site itself, would there be a way to make it so that when you click the button for the next page, it automatically scrolls you to the top? It's a little thing, but I noted that I had to hit the button, then scroll up past the art in order to read the page.

I really like this layout! Everything is very organized and easy to read. I did notice that the little llama and banner at the top get slightly cut off? The border doesn't go all the way around. It's a very nitpick-y thing that might not matter to you but it's the only thing I really noticed.

Thank both of you for your feedback!

I'm a big fan of computer themed websites, and I love how you combine it with this sort of 80s Tokyo night aesthetic. I noticed how some of the boxes in your "gallery" section cover some of the text, but otherwise it seemed sound on a technical level. On your layout, I feel like it would be better if the portions that get updated (eg: the comment box and the music you're listening to) were closer to the top while stuff like your button code that most people will only need once was closer to the bottom, it's still perfectly navigable as-is, but it could be a bit of a hassle to have to always scroll down if people visit often to see updates. The only thing I truly disliked was the flickering effect, I assume it's supposed to emulate a CRT monitor, but I felt like I was going to give myself a headache looking at it. Overall, it's really good and I like the creativity (as well as your writing)! I'm excited to see how it develops as time goes on.

thanks!! regarding the button code and positioning - that makes so much sense actually   >< i think i might look into rearranging the homepage
also in regards to the crt effect i think i'll try to add a button to turn it on and off and save that to local storage or a cookie or something so that their choice persists xD tho i know cookies are sensitive to some people so i'll have a think abt how i'll do it

thanks so much for the feedback it's given me something to do and they're all sound! :loved:
