Hello, MelonLand! What a terribly nifty place this is!
I am the Haumea Geth Collective, system of curiosity and constant new hobbies

Recently, I've been falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole that is the web revival. I'm not going to bother talking about why it happened because it's the same story that everyone else seems to share: social media stinky. What I do want to talk about, though, is how beautifully this side of the net aligns with my craving for true art and need to aggressively be oneself, my longing for social anarchy and an urge to just tell people that I love them. It's chaotic and raw and it just makes my brain do a little shimmy.
What I found especially neat about this particular forum is its theme: a focus on virtual spaces and exploration. I can't even tell you how many conversations I've had with so many people about the yearning I feel for the good ol' virtual chatrooms and MMOs of my childhood. Places to wander or just
BE, but digitally! It sure was exciting to find an entire forum on the indie web all about this concept, and in an even wackier, more creative way than I could have asked for!
Along with coding my own website, I've also reawakened the old desire from my 12-year-old heart to create my own little games. I only dabbled in programming as a kid, but now, over ten years later, I'm totally jazzed to really put my whole self into it. I'm currently learning Ruby, and have a few planned projects I'm hype to share here.
BUT, those will have to wait. For now, I leave you with a
~link~ to my website, a cheeky wink, and a clear view of my really cool cape as I scuttle away into the darkness.
