I'm not sure how many of you have this same problem, but I often find myself having many ideas but no energy to fully flesh them out beyond dialogue. For this issue, I present RPNow.net! I've been using this site for years now, likely around 6 by now, to script stories and interactions between my OCs. It's really simple to use and once you're done you can export the files as a txt with the same formatting as a script.

You can add other people to the file if needed, but I usually use it on my own. It's really fun and you can assign colours to your characters, speak OOC, and use narrator speakers for scenes. I totally recommend it if you're just looking to get some short stories down. I post all my RPNow works on Toyhouse, if anyone wants to see what they look like after being exported (all content warnings apply,, beware!!)

Lemme know what you guys think, or if you have any other alternatives that can be used for scripting/roleplaying!

this looks so interesting!!! i've been going back and forth between ways of trying to jot down my personal writings and dialogues and this seems like a really neat tool!! i'd love to see what the exported version of your RPNow.net works!

Just linked the toyhouse literature that uses some RPNow exports It's a really fun tool imo so if you do end up using it, I hope you enjoy :3 I failed to mention this in my first post, but you can add images to dialogue too if that's something you're interested in doing. Though I'm not sure how it looks on the export since it exports as a text file

ohhh, i think i've seen this site before!! i think a friend might have recommended it to me..? i've always wanted to give it a try sometime, but like... all the people i rp with use different things, and there's not really a way to find people built into the site. really does seem fun though
