This last week, I have been looking around and mulling on cable management and my options for it-- A few months back I  connected my PC to my TV for Le Maximum Efficiency, however it comes at a cost.  I live as if I were in Serial Experiments Lain.  I'm drowning in wires.  I've been cleaning every day and hope to wrangle and handle my cords, but I have yet to discover a wire management system that fulfills my needs...  Would love to learn how everyone manages their cords, whether through products or DIY, or if there are any articles or websites on the subject.

Much love  :chef:

Why can't people love me for who I am instead of the nineteen-year-old nymphomaniacal hottie college student I am on MySpace?

Oh boy, cable management is always difficult. I deal with this at work, too, and I have to admit I'm not very good at it. The best way I've found for managing things is velco strips, like these: Amazon link. The absolute worst thing is zip ties. Oh, I could write reams about those. I hate hate HATE them.

But I usually try to bunch everything up together as much as possible and then velcro it together. I've found that people hate big balls of cables, and prefer that they're gathered together into one big rope, even if the rope is long and snakes everywhere. At home, I usually just make sure it's out of the way and hope for the best.

I have to admit, I did run out of the hook-and-loop type at home recently while I was doing to some hardware upgrades, so I used masking tape to hold everything back  :ohdear: Shame on me, I know!

Like @TheFrugalGamer I use the Velcro ties. I also use cable sleeve wrap especially where I can't hide the cables.
