I've been doing some exploring through more obscure games (more out of boredom than curiosity at this point) and I somehow stumbled upon Clonk (check it out at clonk.de) I downloaded Clonk Rage for a goof and wow :chef: (It's great) it has this great sort of... I don't want to say aesthetic because that word is way too overused nowadays but I don't know what other word to use. It reminded me of kinda how this website feels so I wanted to suggest it to you guys. Clonk: Rage is the version I've been poking around with and it supports Linux, Windows, and Mac so everybody here can probably use it I suppose. The controls are a little bit unorthodox and may take a while to learn, mainly because back in the DOS days (yes, this game is practically a dinosaur now) most people didn't have multiple computers in their house, so multiplayer was expected to be played by up to four people on one keyboard (yikes) so the controls are split up into fourths of the keyboard. I suppose you could rebind them if you want. The gameplay is essentially a physics-based mix between Worms, Lemmings, and Terraria. You just have to check it out, it's neat!

(sorry for not posting till now, ive been worried i might use the forums incorrectly since im somewhat confused on what their for and i have a very mixed past with these sorts of things)  :ha:

Clonk

I played a ton of this back in the good old days - my cousins were fans, and even paid to turn their shareware into a full-version - the game was great, but could be rather frustrating at times - very quirky, but probably one of those titles that greatly shaped my taste for video games  . There is a FLOSS Clonk available - I never played it, but from what I've seen, it extends the gameplay and the mechanics that are available, so it is probably more like a in official sequel :).
