Indie Animations/Animated Short Films

Hope this is the right place to post about this. I was wondering if anyone here has any favorite indie animations or animated short films they've stumbled across?

My personal favorite is Mr. Jessop by Brian Wood (of The Cramp Twins fame!)

It just really captures how it feels to just exist in modern society to me. I feel what Mr. Jessop feels on a soul level. The art style and animation is also so so pleasing to me, I love it so much.

BOY DO I!!!

I got so many incredibly talented animations, films, made by an incredibly small team, or sometime one guy. All of them don't get as much credit as it deserve. I also recommend checking out the creators channels. As the stuff there is so good.

The Artist's mind

The camerawork, the small bits of animation, the story telling, the lighting. All of this is incredible, the story it tells also somewhat relates to me as its about an artist who's trapped in their mind, and then... Actually I perfer it yall watch it because I don't really want to spoil the animation it's only about 7 minutes so you can watch it during a lunch break. One last thing to mention this whole thing was created BY ONE GUY! Which is crazy to think about, from what I saw he has another film like this called The Credit System it was something made for his personal finance class. (I be surprised if he didn't get an A on this)

Dream Catchers

This is an indie show created by some college students, and right off the bat you can tell these guys are incredibly dedicated to the show. Not only does the show already have 4 episodes despite it only being 6 months. They also provided translation to their episodes. Which is wild! I linked the 1st episode, but I urge people to check out the other episodes if you get the chance the story is so interesting, and the animations Is honestly well done.

Olive Place, Luxury Inn

Another indie show with a pretty low view count for the amount of work put into it. This one though only have 1 episode though, but that 1 episode is pretty funny, with some cool little intermission bit. On top all that the show used so many different types of style for one episode it's crazy. I do wish that this show gets continued because I would love to see more!

I've been really into Monkey Wrench lately! It's a sci-fi indie animated show you can find on YouTube. They have 4 episodes out so far and I think they are trying to get founds to produce episode 5 rn
