Hi you can call me Counterfeit, Mascot or just Jess (she/her)! I'm a 2D animator, storyboard artist and all around doodler!

I stumbled across this site while doing research on forums I used to visit for an illustration I'm working on and thought I'd join since I'm super nostalgic for and think the world in in need of a desperate revival of these forum spaces over mainstream social media! I'm also looking to learn gamedev and improve on my knowledge of 3d modeling and webdev.

Im obsessed with 2d rpg games and would love to eventually make one of my own where I can make lots of unique creatures and have a big focus on world building! I was also a massive fan of gaia online and its mmorpg counterpart, Zomg! and would love to eventually make an mmorpg inspired by that!

Ah very cool, both genres I'm interested in and love. I never had a Gaia phase when I was younger, it's still around I see, would you say it's worth getting in to as a new person or is it a "new person in 2025 will be incredibly overwhelmed" type of situation similar to Neopets lol

I was also a neopets kid haha! My biggest gaia phase was from around 2007-2009 so a lot of the experience I had is barred off from flash player being gone.

Oh that's such a shame, the classic downfall

I've been looking for a site that fills the browser gaming void recently but keep coming up short :( I am really excited for the Pixie Hollow revival that's being worked on though!
