nav bar not looking quite right...

i have no idea how to get my nav menu to act like an upstanding citizen rather than the buffoon it has thus been. the top bullet on the list is always floating off in space for some reason, ive tried several things and havent been able to get it to be in line with the rest of the stuff.

the weirdest thing is that it looks entirely normal in VSC?? not sure whats going on there
