How often do you visit your own site?

Quite often, though usually through the local HTML files on my PC so I don't inflate the Neocities viewcount with my own visits.

Often but I don't really... pay attention to it?  Like I use it for links and stuff, but I wish I could hang around the site more often. I frequently feel like... a "create and abandon" approach to what I make. I don't know why. Maybe it's because I don't feel proud of what I make because it never quite matches up to my vision? Or because once it's done and out, I just move onto the next thing?

Terrible things to think about one's own art, I know. But how can I change it? I really wish I could give myself the time to sit on my website and appreciate what I made, maybe through the eyes of someone who hasn't seen every bump and flaw of its making

I know there are a variety of answers to this question, but asking this question to me, personally, is similar to when people ask me, "Do you read your own fanfic?" Yes, of course I do! Much like my fanfic, I built my website for myself first and foremost. I visit it almost daily -- whether it be for the bookmarks page, grabbing something from my art or writing archives, or using my graphics hoard to find something for decoration.

I visit quite a lot. Sometimes for specific bugs that might not have been seen while testing, but mostly because I like looking at it. Regardless on what version of my site I was ever since I started having it, I liked visiting it at least once a day, unless I just wasn't able to be near my laptop a lot during the day.

I like looking at it, but it's also nice to think about what I would maybe change that could make it more interesting to me. I am in the process of planning v5 of the site, and seeing how my current one looks like does help with ordering what I would change and what I would leave in. My own site is pretty much the one I visit the most for sure.

Weekly I'd say. Once, sometimes twice a week. Mostly to see if everything is working properly or to use some of my pages when I'm at a flea market to see if I found a missing issue or not. Sometimes I read some of my "bavardages" to see what I wrote about a series. I also try to locate typos and repeats because I make too much of these !

if i'm working on my site: multiple times a week, sometimes multiple times a day to make sure everything looks right

if i'm not working on it: whenever i need to access a link or send it to someone, so a couple times a month maybe?

when i had my neocities sites, i used to view them a lot more because i had a lot more content and spent many years on it. i still haven't gotten around to adding the majority of that back to my current sites.

I visit my own website if i'm either, want to make a new blogpost, check for new comments.
Or if i want to check on my own forum, if there is coincidently some activity, which is seldom.

Most of the time i dont visit my website, but i do often visit my webhost backend to look at the awstats (basic analytics) of my website.

Surprisingly lots of people regularly check their own site!

I usually check my site when I want to remember what I have uploaded, like blogs and artwork. Maybe Im working on a blog and want to check if I have already done a topic before. Or maybe I remember mentioning something in a blog/art, and want to see when I did that for nostalgia sake(?). Sometimes when I am bored outside, I would check my site on mobile. These are times where I would see bugs in my site, like the layout being weird, or me forgetting add something.

It is quite nice to check the creations we make once in a while

I have my own website set as my browser's home page, so anytime I open up Librewolf on my laptop it'll always show my site first thing. Though in terms of interaction, it hasn't been much mainly since I've been finding myself working on the characters tab and other aspects here and there lately.

i'm glad to know we're not the only people who obsessively check their own site...

because i'm in a system , i might poke around my headmate's site sections to see what they've been up to, so i guess that counts 

our website is our biggest piece of collective art and is a labor of love, so i find myself looking at it a lot!  checking it often means i get to see what pages might benefit from more depth as well! or if something needs to be reorganized, or if there's a mistake somewhere

Everyday! It's both my homepage, and what a new tab redirects to! A constant reminder of where I keep my hat

I've come to like my site visually right now because it's mostly easy on the eyes, and I often get lost in thought staring at the stars slowly floating by. It also makes me sort of sad, for I know that eventually the look of the whole site will be completely different. This is just coming from someone who has less than 40hrs put into their site, but the future constantly tickles my brain while I'm there.

Sometimes I wonder about the purpose of the site should be. I made it originally just because I could, but I feel so much more a part of the site and it, me. I want to see it grow, but I have no clue what I want it to grow into. Late night thoughts.

It depends on if I've been actively working on it or not. Sometimes I'll have the site open to listen to the music player I have on there if I'm not currently working on it. Though I really should spend a bit more time exploring my site while I'm not working on it.
