Technically not a thrift store but a little while ago I went to a big vendors mall and I found a strawberry shortcake board game from the 80s and a gingersnap doll from the 2000s strawberry shortcake(aka my fav character from that series). Im rly big into collecting toys and stuff from the 80-2000s so this was a big deal for me :ok:

I went on a date with my girlfriend to a flea market we both love, and I had some really nice pickups!

I got some games I had been curious about for a long time, and some decent movies on VHS!

But near the end we entered this wee shop within the market, and someone had 4 Jasper Xbox 360s in a bag for £10 each! I of course had to snag one up!
I've been wanting original PS3 and 360 models for a while because of how of their time they now look and how they represent what is, to me, the tail end of my nostalgia for gaming and what I call "classic", as beyond around 2008 games became just like what they are today, just with worse graphics and framerates (and even then not by a lot!), but that's another discussion for another time.
I believe the console is untested due to not coming with any cables or even a controller but even if it needs work, I got a great deal!

They also had a VTech V.Smile! I've also been curious about this due to an emerging homebrew community for the system. This one has been tested by the seller and confirmed to be working, so was a little more, but I figured why not! It didn't come with any power adapter, and I didn't have anything that worked, but luckily it can also use 4 AAs.

So yeah, I'm happy with what I got!

technically an antique store find but I found this cute wind-up alarm clock. Unfortunately its alarm is broken rn.

On another antique store trip, I found this kinda big mantel clock. It's battery powered and supposed to chime but once again, the chime's broken, as in when I turn it on, it doesn't stop chiming.

I can't remember precisely where I got it from, but this shirt came second-hand from a charity shop either in late 2001 or early 2002, and I still own and routinely wear it!

Better than that, it only cost me 50 pence. That's less than a single USD / Euro for those who think in those currencies. And I've owned it most of my life. Excellent value for money!

(I wrote more about it last year, over here.)

Not really a thrift store find but moreso a thrift marketplace one. :) I've been wanting to try real leather boots but because of my specific feet sizing I worried about immediately investing a load of money into something that wouldn't be comfortable. After some searching I got my hands on a used pair of Panama Jack boots (€45). And when I say used I really mean it - these look dusty - but I am optimistic about the ability of leather to look fresh again after a proper cleanup. The boots thankfully already fit great, enough to even pair them with thick socks! I'm really happy.  :dive:

I found this at my library's sale room, not an actual thrift store. I found the all three seasons of Peter Capaldi's time in Doctor Who, sealed! And it was only a dollar :mark: :mark:  I'm still in shock. I've only watched his first two seasons, so I'm excited to finally be able to see the third one!
