Heya, I'm Edea!

Heya! I'm Edea! I'm a 27 y/o, nonbinary, and perpetually confused denizen of the US Pacific Northwest!

Fast facts about me:

• I'm an artist full time (though I happen to unfortunately be employed as a system administrator for 40 hours a week)
• I've been singing for 20 years
• I've made countless game prototypes that have never seen the light of day 
• I have epilepsy and as a result I have a terrible memory!
• I'm a widow, but fortunately I'm in an okay place these days

I planned to attach some of my art to this post, but due to size constraints I'll need to resize them and put em up later!

A more personal, creative web was the environment that made me want to grow up and work in technology as a kid. I've been lamenting the downfall of forums and personal sites for a long time, and learning about this wonderful place as well as the web revival movement in general truly filled me with joy.

Lately, I've been working on a little personal site/blog at https://edeas.gay, which is currently hosted on BearBlog - though the limitations of that platform have led me to experimenting with more bare-bones hosting options for a static site like nekoweb. I have the knowledge to do self-hosted or an AWS instance, but to be honest, after working my tech job, when I come hoem I just want to work on the creative stuff and not the technical side

i'm still in act 2 or 3, i don't remember! Either way- I'm happy to see that someone in here plays that game!! :O
