Weird looking PCBs

Hello! Completely random topic but I was taking apart our old garage door openers. We recently got them upgraded and I like to take electronics apart and harvest things that could be useful, or at least look at the circuits and I found something really weird in them! One was from 1995 and one was from 1996. The ‘95 PCB looked all squiggly compared to the more angular, straightness of the ‘96 one and most modern PCBs. I assume this is because the older one was drawn by hand and that design was re used for all of the garage door openers at that point in time cause I know you can actually scribble out circuits yourself and have the right parts melted away with acid to just leave your traces. Anyway, I just thought this was interesting and wanted to share (plus if you have some other weird and wacky looking circuits let me know!)

Ah yes, the art of manually laying out PCB's. Those handdrawn pcb's are may favorite, can look at them for hours.
The first board is layed out by hand, while the second one is layed out with a CAD program.
Mitxela has a nice video about pcb's, where he even made a plugin for kicad to "melt" pcb traces to get the same effect.
