Tripod deleted sites

Another nail in the coffin of old sites. For a long time, Tripod still kept lots of personal websites hosted. But now they've all gone. Looks like they've purged them all. Very sad, for a while there they were available to see how the old web looked.

Hopefully some of those sites have been archived, seeing them being deleted after years of being up is sad.

Nooooooo I was wondering why the Ecoco fansite went down after being up for so long. RIP Tripod sites   
For those who don't know, Ecoco was a mascot for an air conditioning company that went a little viral in the late 90s for being cute. This was one of the few english language sites for this character.
