Magic: The Gathering!

Oh... hellothere!

I just started with MTG (Magic the gathering) because, since today we started the project days on our school.And one of my friends and me heard a few times about Magic and thought :,,COOL!''
For those who don't know what MTG is, it's a TCG (Tranding Card Game) like pokemon... but more complicated to play.
Anyways we started today and it was amazing!
Everyone got 2 booster packs with 20 cards and had to build a deck out of 40 cards.(I made a red and white deck )
I won 2 times against my friend (I think he hates me :D)

And i wanted to start with MTG Arena!So maybe some of you can play MTG Arena with me soon
So when some of you have tipps for me pls write me

I started playing magic about a year ago! I made a friend who prints me out proxy decks so I have 4 decks now without having to spend lots of money. I like the game more and more as I can play without being mentally overwhelmed with learning the rules.

Oh i've been playing magic since I was little. I have never been good at it but i've always liked it. I recently built a partially proxy vampire deck that i'm probably never gonna get to play again, but it works!! Their is something so satisfying about building something that does what you meant it to do. Even if that thing is just making a lot of vampire tokens.

I also learned a fair bit of magic lore as a kid, that I stole for my ocs in middle school.

I also had the absolute pleasure of drafting a deck with a janky alt win condition at my local game store and winning exactly once with it. I have been chasing that high.

My partner and I have started getting back into Magic after finding a couple old decks lying around. It's been fun revisiting it again! I've been playing a lot of the Digimon card game too, and Magic is so much more freeform in its deck construction than Digimon which is nice.

I've always wanted to do a draft night type thing but I'm nervous about playing in public spaces.  I've never been the competitive type and prefer to play casually.

Back in the day, I used to get together with friends every week and we'd play Magic for hours and hours. We all had different decks we had crafted. It was really nice.

I honestly probably wouldn't have gotten the courage to go if I wasn't tagging along with me friend but in my experience it was pretty chill.
