Mapping your Reading

For me, reading is also a form of travel.  I map the locations/settings of the books that I read here *FIXED*.

I'm wondering if anyone else here does the same.

I'm also on goodreads, would love to connect/follow.

That's such a cool idea!! I think adding locations to a map physically would be a good conversation starter :D or maybe as an add-on to one's website.. I'm not on goodreads, avoiding Amaz0n, but I do plan on starting to review media on my site or spacehey

OMG That's so cool! I think I read a bit too many books that take place in fantasy worlds and/or space for me to do that. My Good-reads is Here. I think having book mutuals would be really neat.

For fictional locations, I will map to real places that inspired the fictional setting, when applicable (e.g. Alnwick Castle for Harry Potter).  But for most fantasy I can imagine that is often difficult.

Oh heck that's such a cool idea!! I'd love to do a physical version of that. Pins in a huge map on the wall. For fantasy books, I could hang paintings around the map, or add any fictional maps that are sometimes included at the front of fantasy books...

Anyway, I'm dying to have more Goodreads moots! Here's mine!
