Pretty much just as the topic title says. I'm curious to see if there's anyone (beside me!) who is interested in filming locations and seeing what those places look like today.

I've been creating "then and now" filming location documentary videos and photo comparisons for over 10 years now, spanning 1915 through the 2000s. From Charlie Chaplin, to Tyler Perry. Laurel and Hardy to Abbott and Costello. The Three Stooges. The Twilight Zone. I Dream of Jeannie. Starsky & Hutch and Charlie's Angels. Madonna to White Town ("Your Woman"). And lots more. These days, they're all up on my website https://ChrisBungoStudios.com

Have any of you visited filming locations? Do you have photos or videos you can share? Or do you live at or near a filming location?

Here's a quick excerpt from a documentary video I created showing the filming locations then and now from the Our Gang / The Little Rascals movie "Free Wheeling" - 1932 vs today.

And one of the then and now filming location photo comparisons I've created:

I've tracked down a couple of the location of a few movies I've seen. I've never visited them as that would require going outside. One of the locations was from the 1971 cinematic classic Girl Slaves Of Morgan Le Fay. Now I'm sure you've seen it but in case you haven't the basic plot is some french lady and her friend somehow enter a magical otherworld and have lesbian sex with Morgan Le Fay in her castle. And she will give them immortality if they join her harem or something. I can't really remember, It is just that good of a movie it is designed to be watched multiple times.

Anyway I tracked down the castle used in the film. Turns out it is Château de Val.

Well now, that sounds like an interesting film! How did you end up tracking down the castle location?

The film is French so I assumed the castle is in France. Also, the movie shows the castle is on an island. The I just searched online for "french island castle" and just looked through images until I found it. As it turn out I got lucky as the castle isn't actually on an island, that was just movie trickery, the castle is actually on a peninsula, it was just only filmed on its coastal sides.
