I made this website last year to archive the paintings of my mother, who passed away in 2022. It's only the second website I made and is rather basic - but I am still quite happy with the front page: lvpart.com

Maybe I'll revamp it sometime with a font change or something, though I wouldn't want it to make it too snazzy as that could distract from her work.

I've gotten a few more paintings from relatives, so there will be an update in the next year or so.

aww that's such a heartwarming idea! i love that. however, idk if it's just me but the website is coming up as server not found. would love to admire your mother's art!

You know, at first I thought it was an issue where it might not work when using a VPN, but I just checked and...

...I put the wrong URL. It's .com, not .net. LOL. Fixed in OP.

This art is gorgeous, and I think the website is lovely, too. Good on you for giving her artwork somewhere to live.

My favourite's got to be either Cat on Quilt or Seamstress.  :4u:

I have seen it now, your mother was very skilled. I like the clown paintings in particular, I see those clown dolls in secondhand stores frequently so they give a nostalgic feeling. Paradise Life looks different from all the other works so it also stood out to me :4u:

I no longer share my mother's religious beliefs but am also partial to the Paradise Life and the other psychedelic 70s works.
