If you were a DVD menu what sort of features would you have

DVDs are very cool

spinny discs

that use LASERS to make movies happen, but they also have cool menus with lots of interactive bits and music that plays on a loop for hours and hours and hours. Some DVDs have games, and some have audio commentaries, and some even have um... quizes?? 

If I was a DVD menu Id like to be really esoteric, like all the play and pause buttons are hidden in a bunch of looping animations and you have to sit there for an hour just to get the movie to play and when it stats playing you dont really know if the movie is playing or if its still another DVD menu, also I would have a quiz about batteries and what colours would be if they had textures, also my DVD self would have a quiz that asks you this question again in an endless loop of DVD selves.

So what features would you have if you were a DVD menu??

  I would definitely have a life soundtrack menu option, with all of my most played songs.
and there would definitely be a option for a weird little abstract choose your own adventure movie.

also a bloopers option for all the times iv gotten high and broke the 4th wall of reality.

This is such a fun prompt!!

Like many people, I'm multifaceted but for years I struggled with not having one set "aesthetic" or "vibe" in terms of my interests and style. I've been learning to embrace it instead now, so I think my DVD would have themes you could choose for the menu. One would be very pink and glittery with lots of hearts and stars, the cutesy side. There would be a dark mode theme that leans into my love of horror and love for the gritty and weird. The third would be a kidcore theme with lots of primary colours, a blocky font and maybe some word art and colourful PNGs floating around!

I would also have a director's commentary with myself and all of my friends, because I am nothing if not the sum of the people that love me!

I'd probably have a video game demo included if you insert me into an xbox console. I'd also have a bunch of behind the scenes crap and concept art in the extras menu.

I think I would just mirror the structure of my website quite closely, so having a judicious amount of commentary, an art gallery and a menu for simple mini-games.

I was never much of a DVD collector especially since they weren't particularly easy to find where I live back in the 2000s but this has reminded me of my favourite ones, the Spy Kids 3 DVD which had a racing game and the Emperor's New Groove DVD which had a quiz that transformed Kuzco into a random animal if you got a question wrong.
