I've always been one for art as a whole; I draw, I write, and I compose! Always been that way, dunno why. Maybe cuz I like creating worlds? :P  :wizard:

In any case, in my quest of artistic expression and an outlet for the insanity that is my mind (it feels like I'm thinking everything at once rahhhhh) I started a music project inspired by the works of Naitaka, Heaven Pierce Her, Bull of Heaven, and a sea of thousands of other artist I'm too lazy to list (teh mind wantz, but the body don't :/)  :ziped:

So, take a peak at it here; https://bredeplayzanimationsmusic.bandcamp.com/music
Below is the art for it I made! :3  :mail:

I will likely post updates to the project here as they come, so stay tuned! I will (hopefully) post here every album release!

There are different ways to perceive art; and one of them is to see art as a principal idea that is existent somewhere within the (metaphysical) world; if seen that way, acts and works have a share of this idea of this - basically essential - idea of art, and what makes them unique isn't their "artsiness" but their own essence (that is, however, not artsi); some people like what is beneath the art and do things that have a share of artsiness; some just like the very essence.

I just listened to "Look at your stained hands and tell me, would anyone be there to cry at your funeral?", and liked it - rather raw, but certainly with a unique style. I took a quick dive into "all that and a bag of chips" - I hope that I'm right to assume that you intend to make Muszak-inspired Vaporwave? If so, I'd say that you need more disruption (I don't mean this in terms of production, at least not solely) for it to work out. Edit: I was absolutely off - the titles and the whole meme-culture they transport somehow made me misjudge the music, that is actually quite good. Are you aware of Mort Garson and Tomita?

Well, glad that you enjoyed your dive into both "Look at your stained hands and tell me, would anyone be there to cry at your funeral?" and "all that and a bag of chips"!, as well as your insight into the nature of perception of art :3

The rawness of "Look at your stained hands and tell me, would anyone be there to cry at your funeral?" was a deliberate choice to emulate the feeling of painful emotion, heh

I'm glad you enjoyed the memey vibe of "all that and a bag of chips"... sadly I am not aware of Garson nor Tomita :/ who are they?

Hmm, my post might be a bit misleading: I saw the memey vibe more of a hindrance when enjoying your music.
Garson and Tomita both did music on the Moog synthesizer; their output is sometimes regarded as easy-listening, but it would be wrong to reduce them to this - when it comes to slightly tootly music that embraces the use of synths, they were pioneers. You might also be interested in the 1000 Knives of Sakamoto.
